    Build 7600 vs RC

    Hi,

I would like to know from those of you who upgraded from RC to any of the 7600 builds if there are some benefits to upgrading in terms of performance, boot speed, applications responsivness. Basically is the RTM build better than the RC?

    If yes in what way?

    Great news then.

I would hate to have to format my laptop in order to install the final RTM (when it will be confirmed by MS to be final :) ) without seeing benefits.

I am running 7137, is there a lot of difference between 7137 and the 7600s?
And which of them is best/newest? I can't keep up with these leaks.

I was running RC 7100 for almost 3 months and today i installed 7600 64bit. I have noticed a drastic change in terms of stability, file copying speed and responsiveness. I would recommend you should for for it. Do a clean install for optimum performance.

I have been upgrade installing since 7000 build and havent had any problems. Maybe it's just me, but if u dont feel like clean installing would suggest that. Wouldnt do any harm atleast and then if it would then maybe clean install.

I will surely do a clean install. I think I will wait until I know for sure which build will be the true and final RTM.

Did you also notice an improvement in boot time?
