No. My computer used to reboot between 52-58 secs and its still the same. However, i have tried running lots of softwares altogether, opened 30 tabs in IE, firefox and safari and browsed different websites, installed ESET smart security and MSE together, and so on. Tried all the possible ways to crash it but its resistant. I m really impressed. I would recommend every one to go with build 7600.16384 or 7600.16385 and you wont regret it.

    i'm glad i upgraded from 7232

no obvious improvements, but nothing got worse either.

@ten: you say 'placebo' - maybe you are right - but how do you know for sure? microsoft must have done something between builds 7232 and 7600...

boot time seems to improve the more times you boot in my opinion (up to a point obviously!)

Has anyone gone from 7232 to 7600 and noticed performance or stability improvements?

I want to move up from 7127 x64 but want still want to use the RC keys, and was considering 7232 x64.

i don't understand all of those asking if 7600 is better.
well it must be better, its a newer build, but more importantly, you will eventually have to
install the RTM or FINAL win 7 because you can only run RC up to march 2010.
so asking if 7600 is better is pointless IMO.

People just want to find out if it's worth the effort to upgrade/clean install or stick with the current build.

Thank you. That is exactly what I want to know. I don't understand how some people think asking if various builds are better than others is "pointless". I want to know their opinion about the build they're running/ran.

I am assuming there are no activation methods for 7600 yet... correct?
