    okay so I figured 3GB= 3072MB, so I devided by 4 and I put 768MB as initial and max pagefile size..now I am at 8.37GB Used..

    Nice...I have seen no reason for such a large PF...I would turn it off if it wasn't for some games failing to start because of no PF lol

    Don't give up yet, i'm gonna increase my pagefile to 2GB. I have 1.25GB ram & it's recommended that you have a pagefile of 1.5x your memory. God help those that eventually get 128GB of RAM for x64

    I have never seen a reason for that much of a PF...if you run extremely intense memory applications (like photoshop I guess...) than maybe if your RAM is a little low (like your Jeff)...otherwise turn it down and let your very fast hardware RAM take over...

    I'm planning on buying more RAM but can only upgrade to a max 2GB on my lappy (something to do with the hardware specs of an ei 3101 )
