I'm planning on buying more RAM but can only upgrade to a max 2GB on my lappy (something to do with the hardware specs of an ei 3101 )
I see...it should make a world of a difference in the performance on the laptop!

I was very surprised for this $298 laptop from walmart..u can look at my specs..its max is 3GB and came with 2GB, I added 1 more. But it gets a 3.3 score in this build and It just rocks for a cheap Compaq-HP laptop..

No kidding laptop RAM is very expensive...this laptop at first had 2GB of RAM and one of my friends bought 4GB of RAM but after realizing Windows Vista x86 couldn't use all 4GB of RAM he sold me his 4GB of RAM for my RAM and $35 to replace his laptop's 1 GB of RAM

...I tried to explain to him that using 64-bit is not a big deal anymore but he wouldn't listen...
