Seavixen32, I really don't think Microsoft or Dell will give anything away for "free." I figure I'm gonna have to spring for it. Not the end of the world. But not pleasant either.

Don't give up on Dell, they sent me their OEM OS, Drivers, and bloatware disks for a 5 year old laptop. May be another story for Win7 though.
EDIT: No charge of any kind.
