clean install of win7 and keeping install of mint

Recently i had a windows error that prevented me from logging into my profile, so i ended up doing a restore and that fixed the problem. But now like half of my programs are working, all failing to load. So i was thinking of just doing a clean install of windows and starting over. But the deal is that i dual boot my machine with linux mint, so i was wondering if it would be possible to do a clean install of windows 7 without having to delete the mint partition. thanks for the help in advance.

    Welcome to Seven Forums.
Shouldn't be a problem. You should be able to delete the partition that windows resides on, create a new partition, then load Windows 7 in the newly partitioned space.

Yes. You definately can re-install Windows without removing Linux Mint. The only problem is that Mint won't show up in the Windows 7 bootloader at first. In order to insert it into the bootloader menu, you will need to use a tool called BCDEdit and add the entry.
