Video folder takes ages to load in Windows Explorer
Hi, I'm running 64 bit Windows 7 Home Premium, SP2, with 12 GB RAM and an i7 980x on an SSD operating drive. On my internal data drive, which is a SATA III, there's one folder that takes for-freakin-ever to open in Windows Explorer. It's a folder of about 50 HD movie clips taken with my home HD camcorder. Each is about 2-5 minutes in length.
When I open the folder, it takes forever to open and display the files. Like 5-10 minutes of the shimmering green bar on top. Under folder options, it's already optimized for videos. I've also had the archiving and indexing options unchecked. So what's the problem here? What can I do? Please let me know. It's very annoying.
