Admin rights
Hi, I am a beginner and don't understand the logic of Windows Admin rights:
1. I am the adminstrator (the system control confirms that). Still I can not save a txt file under programs (in that case: under Thunderbird Mozilla / Chrome). WHY?
2. The problem exists even when I individually rightclick on "c:" then "programs" then "thunderbird" then "chrome" and as for extended user rights including Writing for all these folders - something that should not be necessary for Administrators anyway...
3. Following the advic eof another user I went to START cmd and entered: net user administrator /active:yes
- so now I could login as "Administrator". Again, my own private account is already indicated as Administrator - but even if I want to login now with this new User: what's the password for Administratr???
My main problem actually is: Why do I get the message that I can not save IF I am the Administrator?
Thanks
