When I start my computer and Windows 7 has completely started there is a white square in the middle of the screan. When I open a programme, it disappears What is the problem and what can I do so that the white square doesn't appear by starting up the pc? Thanks for the reply's

Background white square to desktop icons!
I know I have seen a way to remove this here on the Forum somwhere. If I remember it was related to the arrows that appear on icons but for the life of me I can't find it. I have gone all through Brink's tuts to no avail. Anyone remember where the solution is please? Here's what I mean:
User pictures appear as white square
Hi all In my control panel, in the users section all the user's pictures appear as blank white squares. In the login screen I can see the pictures but I'm wondering why they appear as white squares in the control panel and if it is a bug which can be fixed. Thank you in advance Fela
