    some icons become invisible

    Hi,
some problem occured to my laptop recently, not very serious but better to fix it. first, some folders and files become invisible, I can see the name, but can't see
their icons. And every time I open a folder, the progress bar occurs, but is forever staying at 99.9%
pictures can be found in my attachment
anyone has an idea what's wrong?

    thanks

Hello Adf, and welcome to Seven Forums.

If you have a ton of images in this folder, then it may take longer than usual for it to load and display the icons for them giving you the slower progress bar. In addition you might see if rebuilding the icon cache may help in case their may be some corruption in the cache.

    Hope this helps,
    Shawn

:)Thanks for your advice, I tried rebuilding the icon cache, but I can't be sure if the problem's solved.
In fact, there's no problem in the first 30min I start up the computer, but after 30min or more, some icons
begin to disappear, folder icon, file icon, even icons for (C:) (D:) (E:) (F:)
    but some icons still remain.
It looks like it's taking time to load and display them, but no matter how long I wait, it won't finish loading.
I can't open those files or folders when these problems occurr, and some time after I reboot, they occur again.
I'm still waiting to see if they will occur, hope it will be fine this time

    alas, it happens again

How many files do you have in that folder?

If they are video files, then I have noticed that they may never fully load or all display the thumbnail if you have a lot of them in one folder.

But it's not the problem of one folder, it can happen on any folder

As a test to see if it's just a issue on your current user account, create a new user account and log on to it to see if you have the same issue in it as well.

If not, then give these a try:
If still not, then you might consider doing a system restore using a restore point dated before this started.
