    Well I have formatted the drive and now trying to install from scratch so lets see what happens.

    Where were you advised to mark Active and Rebuild BCD?

    Repeatedly you've been asked if you wiped the HD using the forum's tutorial: SSD - HDD Optimize for Windows Reinstallation

    This is how boot sector corruption is dealt with to give a clean slate for reinstall.

    In this case, you jumped to reinstall without asking first how to repair an installation borked by Updates which is something we fix here every day.
