    is this malware please help


    text missing only text boxes in task manager. i have tried most of the solutions like running scannow and trying to right click the space between borders. i think this is a malware. there is no text in anywhere only check boxes . please help me if this a configuration isue or malware attack

    I'm not sure if this is malware or not, but it would be a good idea to scan your system with the free Malwarebytes and Microsoft Standalone System Sweeper to help be safe.

    Afterwards, you might see if running a sfc /scannow command may be able to help if it's a corrupted system file causing this.

    If not, then you might consider doing a system restore using a restore point dated before you had this issue.

    Hi Thanks a lot for you help, I tried system restore but unfortunately It says it cannot restore no matter which point i try because it says it cannot extract some movie file which it may have backed up. (I deleted the file once I watched that movie) I use lenovo y550 so I do not have a manufacturers cd. (it seems lenovo users should have created a back up disc recently after purchasing it damn it I was not aware of it). What other options do you suggest??
