Performance of most recent builds of Windows 7 vs RC

Hey guys. So before the RC, I had updated to every available build of W7 except for 7022. But once the RC came, I found there was no real need for anything more. So I wonder, can anyone tell me how the performance compares from RC to the most recent near RTM(or RTM) builds? Is it any worth upgrading? Have there been any notable changes not related to performance between the RC and the subsequent builds?

    Thanks in advance ^_^

I've found the RTM builds (7264+) to be a lot better IMO. They install faster and use less RAM in my case than any other build

I'm running 7600.16385 and it's running like melted butter, even on my lappy (see 'My System Spec') and i've even found resource hungry applications such as Media Center now start quicker (still not instant though ).

    Might just be me though

I think when RC came out, it was a WOW effect, everything worked fine, better, nicer, faster than VISTA, but it is ONLY an RC and space for improvments.

Know that 7600 is declared as RTM(not official), there will be no more news, no new build where we can find bug that are fixed... SO we have the time to review Windows 7 more in details, and than it is sure that we find stuff, that is not SOOOO perfect, and in memorys we think RC was better. But if we go back to RC, we will find (for sure) the same bugs as in 7600 !!

Well although i find 16385 faster i must say for me 7127 is still the best as all my games are working. With 16385 i'm getting more and more games not working. PITY!

has anyone actually done any rigorous benchmarking of the different builds so far?

any links anyone to such info? i've done a quick google, but can only find info on ancient builds...
