    Yep Deffinatly sounds like an Issue of Reality vs Propriety.

    I guess it could have been set up that way by them, so that they knew when it was installed/setup. But that is a very flawed way of management as you have found out.

    Anyway if there is no other problems Could You Mark This Post as Solved if your Happy with the Outcome And Rep Anyone who Helped you.

    Did you Upgrade From Vista?

    With the Fresh install of Windows 7 its is listed as Computer

    OK, so this is a company computer. If having the date is such a big deal, why doesn't the company just use a system image (they do make periodic system images, don't they?) to return the machine to the way it was before you changed the icon?
