You tapping it as soon as you turn on the laptop? Also try F1 or F2.

I don't think the user has ever actually made it into Windows the first time. It sounds like they are stuck at this Gate thing and not getting past it, think it is Windows 7.

64.! You're only a young un, I'm 83 and building my own, I was glad to see the back of XP, welcomed 7 with open arms.
