    System Security

I've seen a few posts from some members about using MSE for online protection. I was curious as to whether any of you have any additional software like firewall software or malware software and such. The reason I ask is because I've had so many problems with NIS 2011 (Can't restore system successfully or create system backup succesfully) that I want to dump it, so is MSE sufficient.

Whether one security program is sufficient is subjective, and it depends on a lot of variables.
Let's just say no security program is 100%.

I use MSE as my " real time " protection, and I use Malwarebytes as my " on demand " protection.
    So far so good.

What do you mean by " on demand " protection?

Real time = the programs starts running as soon as you start the computer, and it will continue to run until you shut down the computer.

On Demand = the program does not run until you turn it on manually. Then it will go about scanning, gives you a report when finished, and it will stop running. You then turn it off and it stays off until you turn it back on manually.

    ADDING :
Malwarebytes is one of the best in the business. It is worth installing and it has a free version, no charge.

pick the " free " download, unless you want to buy the " pro " version.
