I looked at your specs and you should re running it on the highest settings

Anyhow I had to run it in Vista SP1 Compatibility and administrator when I installed it

win 7 build 7600.16385 x64

Windows 7 hits RTM im bit disappointed no its not beacuse of its features but the craze
it builds every time leak happens for new builds will be missing now!!!

I really like the aero peak in it im Windows user who moved directly from xp to windows 7!!!
so aero and now aero peak was new to me!!!
i can say windows make to feel like its light works stable with less than 1GB RAM i tired it myself!!!

one thing i like the most in windows 7 is that im a user who likes to reinstall once in a 2 months and in windows 7 i dont have to install additional drivers for the devices as windows 7 got all drivers

now i reinstall more often than i did previously!!!

i like new aero themes in windows 7!!!

im pretty much satisfied with win 7 rtm!!!:)

Windows 7 RTM x64

This RTM Version (16385) found all of my devices successfully without fail. I even gotten rid of my dual boot with Vista Ultimate. I am now just using Windows 7 RTM all the time. I even got a friend to install it on his PC, who was afraid because he was so used to having Windows XP (SP2). Now he's glad that I talked him into it and having loads of fun.

7 Pro x86

I really like the added bits and bobs I find it helps using the computer much more efficient.
However with the power and knowledge base microsoft control I expected big gains in performance when using Windows 7 on the same hardware as windows Vista sp2. I haven't experienced any noticeable improvements in performance in the few applications I have been testing compared with Vista sp2.
I don't know much about the way the OS's are programmed but I can't help but feel Windows 7 is Vista sp2 with a different Jacket on.

Peanut Butter & Jelly.
That's because it is...

...Vista R2. The core underpinnings of the OS are relatively unchanged. They tweaked it a bit so that it loads faster and scales a bit better across multiple cores, but otherwise, its linear performance is within 3-5% of Vista's. However, they have made changes to how it functions at runtime, especially the behavior of background services like indexing and superfetch.

That, plus some minor adjustments to the UI threading/prioritizing of window animations, makes the OS "feel" more responsive. I run it daily on an Atom-based Netbook (HP Mini 2140) with 2GB and it's quite smooth. And on my quad-core development workstation (W700ds) it really flies - but then again, so did Vista/XP, so...

Windows XP x64

Seven blows Vista out of the water in any type of intensive motion graphics production work (and just about everything else in general, except Vista's magic power of seizing up under pressure.) Professionals avoided Vista like the plague.

Cloning Disappointed
 I want to avoid the hazel of installing and updating Win 7 if current hard drive dies. All else (e.g. documents, AppData, eMail backed up and easily restored). I have identical hard drives (SATA) and cloned current drive "successfully". When I swap the drives, everything seems to...

Disappointed in XP Mode :(
I'm disappointed in XP Mode because it refuses to run several programs which previously operated without a hitch in XP Professional. Windows Virtual PC installed without problem and, thereafter, FireFox v 3.6 and PCTools v 2010 installed, call-up and run fine. Others, e.g. Palm Pilot v 4.1,...
Anyone else kind of disappointed?
I really wish MS would've added new featured from the RC to RTM timeframe. A lot of icons are left unchanged from Vista's, plus the taskbar could've been reworked a lot.
