i did that it is 450 watts but i mean when the psu 600 watts it 86 efficient what does it use on the electricity like the psu is 600 watts model but it uses 86 percent efficient so how much watts does it use on my computer
In general terms, it means that to produce 450 Watts of DC power to your computer it will use (450w/86%) 523.25 Watts of AC power from your wall socket to do so.
That efficiency rating refers to how efficiently the AC to DC conversion is accomplished. It is not absolute, but a theoretical gauge.
so how much does much does the computer use in watts as the typical modern computer uses 50-250 watts
The power use is determined by the components in the PC, not the PSU. As you haven't shared a list of components with us, no one can estimate that for you.
Power supply calculators exist to allow you to specify a PSU that's adequate to supply the maximum possible load of the components. If the PSU is rated much higher than that, the power consumption should be about the same, excepting differences in efficiency.
Your load at idle may be much less than the maximum, especially if you have a high-powered (300W) graphics card.
There are meters that can be placed between the PC and the mains that will tell you how much power you're using. They are not inexpensive, though: roughly $100US.
i used the caclulator it said 450 watts that require a 450 w psu but i have a 600 psu with 86 percent efficentcy so what will my computer be using nobody is anwering my question i am not on about the psu i know with the 86 percent effiienty it will make my watts less but what will it bring it down to i got my computer in 2007 packard bell

If you filled in the calculator table it gives you the maximum number of watts the components in your computer could draw if they were all running at once and at full power. Below that it gives you a recommended size for the power supply, which is always higher that the maximum watts calculated.
In everyday use the PC will only draw about 150 to 200 watts at idle.
Your 600 watt power supply will only put out what the computer is drawing in - only what is needed at the moment. So if you are at idle the 600 watt power supply will be putting out 150 to 200 watts.
150 watts to 200 watts idle that is wrong sure it says that typical computers use 50-250 max it has 86 percent efficienty does it not only use 14 percent of 600 watts how could it use 150 to 200 watts idle
