What Start button are you referring to here? If you can't get into Safe Mode, then there will be no Start button.

When it refers to Win7 starting or not after repair procedures, it means to click Restart button to see if it will start.

Sorry for being unclear. What I am trying to say is that I can not enter safe mode at all for some reason and have tried many times without success. So essentially I can't get any farther than the windows error recovery screen. When I go through the process of startup repair it tells me that it if the repairs were not complete it will automatically re-enter startup repair. Unfortunately it always re-enters startup repair. However, when it does my operating system and such isn't listed. It tells me to load the drivers for my hard disks which I haven't the slightest idea how to do. I have tried running startup repair without my operating system being listed but each time it says that it couldn't automatically repair my computer. That is basically where I am stuck.

So you've only done the first step of the many I wrote out. All of the others require using the DVD Repair console or a System Repair Disk, not automatic Startup Repair as stated.

See if you can find a Win7 computer to make a System Repair CD: System Repair Disc - Create or borrow or find a Win7 installation ISO to burn a DVD as you may need to reinstall if Repairs don't work.

    Then work through the steps.

Hey thanks a lot for the message. I'm sorry about basically doing the one thing you told me not to do but I just misunderstood. The computer I am messaging from is one I built myself and is using Windows 7 64-Bit so I shouldn't have any problem creating a system repair CD. Also would it be possible to completely wipe my computer and just re-install Windows 7 to my computer rather than trying to repair it? I don't have anything really worth saving besides a few very old high school assignments that I could care less about.

So by following these steps I should be able to get my computer to work? Regardless of the damage that was done to the software or whatever the problem is?

Absolutely impossible to guarantee success in any endeavor in life.

One can say that the procedure has been used by many, including myself, with 100% success.
