windows7 sp1 wont fit in memorex dvd r 4.7 GB

I use the tutorial in in this web to slipstream windows7 and sp1 but when it came time to burned to the dvd R 4.7GB it told me tha it wasn't enough space on the dvd i went by the tutorial using RT 7 lite 64bit so my question is
Can i shrink it to make it fit? and what can i use to shrink it?
And im going to have to do it all over again because it didn't save an image of windows7 sp1 .

another question im running an intelcore i3 550 3.20GHZ 6.00 GB of ram
and when RT 7 lite was doing the slipstream my cpu was hitting 80 to 95 usage is tha normal?

Thanks for ur help in advanced for any help

    Hi Yeabuddy

What is the size of your slipstreamed Iso. I cant help but feel something has gone wrong during the slipstreaming process if it wont fit on a 4.7gig dvd.

My technet sp1 iso is 3.09gig and if I remember correctly when I tested a slipstreamed one it was about 3.1gig so there is no reason It shouldt fit.

Edit-The temps you experienced seem to be a common thing when using that program

i don't know what you did when you slipstreamed sp1, but i can tell you it should fit fine. i have 7 x64 ultimate with sp1 and all updates through 6/20011 on a dvd and it is only 3.43 gigs. if i had not stripped out the x32 it would still be under 4 gigs.

I reseatted the heat sink with "freeze extreme thermal conductivity compound"
And tried it again heres a pic.

I see tha i only got 6 MBs of free physical memory could tha cause my computer to freeze?
Would adding more memory make my computer faster?

Your memory is fine. You are barely using half of it.
