Did you find the COA sticker so you have the Product Key for reinstall?
Did you find the COA sticker so you have the Product Key for reinstall?
If this is your model Dell only posts drivers for 64 bit although with 4gb of RAM I would myself try 32 bit to compare performance: Drivers and Downloads | Dell [United States].
Win7 has most drivers already in the installer or quickly updated via optional Windows Updates. If any are missing you can find most 32 bit drivers via Google.
Burn one (or both) of the ISO's below to DVD or write to flash stick using Windows 7 USB-DVD Download Tool:
Win7 Home Premium x64 SP1 English Official ISO download
Win7 Home Premium x86 SP1 English Official ISO download
Then follow these steps to clean reinstall with the COA Product Key: Reinstalling Windows 7
which files from the Driver and Downloads | Dell am I suppose to download?
Did you read the steps I gave you to get a perfect reinstall? It explains this fully there.
I would not change out any drivers given by the installer and quickly updated by optional Windows Updates. Only supply those missing in Device manager.
Hey Gregrocker, thanks for covering for me while I was away :). @OP - Follow his posts to installing Windows 7.
