    Favourite Menu Vanished

My favourite menu vanished. Instead total program menu inserted in favourite menu. I don't know how? If I try to delete it, it gets deleted from start>program also. Please help me to remove it.

Sorry I don't fully understand your problem?
Which favorites menu disappeared and what do you mean by "total programs"?

I mean to say when I open IE, at the top bar there is favorite menu. Generally I used to save website which I visit daily. But one day I found that all my programs are in favorite menu of IE. I don't know how it happened. If I try to delete them it also get deleted from Start>Program also. Please help me to get rid of it.

Screenshot is attached. Please go through.

Right clicking on the light blue bar and clicking Favorites bar don't work?

    Hello Shail,

It seems like your default locations for the "Start Menu" folder may not be correct. Could you right click on each registry key (in red below) in the left pane of the registry (regedit) at the location below, click on Export, save to your desktop, then upload the exported REG files here? I'll be happy to take a look to see if something is not correct with the path locations in them, and help you to correct them if so.

I was going to suggest moving items in the Favorites folder to a New folder on the Desktop, then Select All and pinning to Start menu. Would that work?

    Hello Gary,

If the paths are the correct default paths in the registry it could. Otherwise, they could just get added back to Favorites when copied to the Start Menu folder.

I am thinking that if I remove IE completely and reinstall it. Am I right? How can I uninstall IE as there is no option in start>control panel>uninstall programm (for IE). Is is possible to install from web without microsoft CD.
