    Dell Inspiron m5030


    Does anyone know a non destructive way of deleting recovery partition.

    I believe you can delete the Recovery Partition with Partition Wizard (freeware)

    To change the name, open User Accounts in Control Panel and click on Change Account Name.

    Note that this will change the name you see and login with but it will not change the name of the folder structure under C:\Users. If you want to get a complete change then you need to create a new account called Hewjr100 and delete the old one. If there is stuff under the old account you want you can copy it to the new account.

    Gotcha on the freeware. On the username I forgot to specify that I want to change username in this forum, sorry about that.
