Problem with program borders and such...

I'm having problems with certain programs like IE and Firefox and even Yahoo messenger and Itunes...

When the programs are loaded the borders are all messed up and the screen where the program is open glitches badly and will flash while scrolling, and even blackout sometimes so i can't see anything on the program at all, and when I try to click the maximize, minimize, or close buttons they're visibly there but you have to click off to the sides of them and what not... does anyone have the same problem and/or have a solution...

I'm using Windows 7 ult x64, on a brand new alienware, graphics card isn't an issue...

Graphics card itself may not be an issue, but it does sound like a issue with graphics drivers.
A complete removal and reinstall of the graphics drivers would sort it if so.
Use this to uninstall not the uninstaller that comes with it
    Phyxion.net - Driver Sweeper

Then just reinstall the latest ...I'm assuming you know where to get that, you didn't provide any specifics on system config.

using driver sweeper you don't have to worry about it. It will clean up everything itself.
If you can tell me what graphics card you have I can point you to a updated driver.

Just select the nvidia graphics driver and control panel in driver sweeper and wipe them.

Fortunately it doesn't matter which of the cards you have, they use the same driver.
    NVIDIA DRIVERS 275.33 WHQL

If you are nervous about using driver sweeper you can try just installing the new driver.
