Have you tried both Uninstall Driver on the Update Driver tab in Device Manager, and Uninstall in Control Panel>Programs and Features.
Do you have a restore point before the Belkin was installed?
What happens when you try to update the wireless driver by either installing a newer or correct driver, or reinstalling the one you have if it is correct?
I used safe mode to remove it. And updating it doesn't work since the latest drivers were for XP.
You may try Phyxion.net - Driver Sweeper to see if it will do the job for you. Then go to device manager from Control Panel and click on the Scan for new Hardware icon.
If you had it installed correctly before it would be worth reinstalling it one more time to try it just like you did before, or in XP Compat Mode.
I will give it a go. and if it causes a BSOD ill uninstall it again. Ive tried using my N adapter and its came up with some Realtek drivers for it (which is wrong but oh well) though they are installed properly it gives a Error Code 10 cannot start message.
Nah. Just got BSOD again... No idea why though.
If the wrong drivers are installed, google the exact adapter make/model to get the latest drivers.
You can trace the make/model if it's not evident using this: Hardware Identification
No matches found for the device (it's literally like the adapters ****ed itself up.)
Try it in another machine to see if it works.
What do you mean by "matches?"
What is the exact make/model?
