Not really, what sort of connection do you have? Is it ADSL?

Until March of this year, my speeds were 8Mb/s down and 443Kb/s up. Your connection is alot faster compared to that

What you have to remember with DSL is that it is dependant on your distance from the exchange.

Your speeds aren't bad at all. Here in the UK, the average broadband speed is just 4Mb/s down. I'm lucky, as I live basically next door to the exchange, so I get 20Mb/s down on ADSL2+ but many many people don't even get 4.

Ultimately with DSL your speed is dependant on Line quality... in fact, here is an article I wrote on it: Broadband Speed Tests

You're going to have to be a bit more specific... if you can supply a model number, and what you want it for, we can probably advise you. HP laptops are like any other laptop, some are good, some are bad, it all depends what you want from it.

Does anybody know of a good music player that has a good Equalizer? IMO, the equalizer sucks for WMP 11, realplayer free, and my sound card. I like the PowerAMP app for my android, the equalizer has a sick bass. but it's not available on pc.
