Forgot password but im logged in

Hey guys I got a weird situation. I went to log into my computer and my password kept saying it was wrong. I know that im using the correct one and my caps lock is off. I think my girlfriend is screwing around on my computer. I went upstairs and then i came down and my computer was logged in. I want to reset the password or change it. I went to make a recovery disc but it asks me for the pw to make it.

Thanks
Kevin

Create a new admin account

As you are logged in it is easy to solve this problem just create a new Admin account by

Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\User Accounts\Manage Accounts

and create a new account and make it a admin account. Then log in to "new" admin account and remove your old account's password. Then login to your old account and delete the "new" admin account and add a new password to your original accounts password.
