    Please please help !!!

Ok I'm not a really technically person so I need a lamin terms response please lol. My computer was fine last night then this morning I turn it on and the theme setting is locked in the classic view and all my aero settings are greyed out and I can't change anything. I have Windows 7 Home Premium I have Kaspersky internet security anti virus and I don't download illegal music I only download iTunes and better have not gotten a virus from something I paid for. I first checked my security and I'm up todate on it and doesn't show anything. I'm really freaking out. This is horrible to have a computer that is maybe 6months old and is operating like the stoneage...if it helps any it is an HP with the finger print scanner with ATI Mobility Radeon Premium Graphics and says it supports Microsoft DirectX11 whatever that is lol. Can anyone please help me???

    Thanks,
    Amber

I doubt this is virus related.
Just out of curiosity have you rebooted the computer since this problem appeared?
Outside of that I would normally just suggest installing the graphics driver and redoing the experience index, neither of which is horribly complicated, but before we even get to that step, I would need to know the exact make and model of the laptop.
It would seem it's an HP of some sort. I just need the actual numbers...

Hello Amber, welcome to Windows Seven Forums.

Download and install Malwarebytes, and then run a full anti-virus scan, preferably in Safe Mode.

Malwarebytes : Malwarebytes Anti-Malware PRO removes malware including viruses, spyware, worms and trojans, plus it protects your computer

Press the F8 key on startup and select Safe Mode when you see it listed, then launch and run Malwarebytes.
