Windows 8.1 Pro RTM x64

Hi 7752 and welcome to W7 Forums

I take it that you want to modify the properties of an existing task, correct?

From what I can make out from your post, it looks as though you have the Actions panel disabled. To re-enable it, click on View and Customize... Check to select the option Action pane.

You can always jump straight to a task's properties by double clicking on it in the Task Scheduler Library. Alternatively, right-click on the task and choose your desired option from the popup menu.
