task scheduler useless?

    task scheduler useless?


    i use windows 7 home premium and i do not have a mf property pane/menu/dropdown wetf it is for existing task? so every time i have to create a new task and get the task already exist error? wtf?

    Hi 7752 and welcome to W7 Forums

    I take it that you want to modify the properties of an existing task, correct?

    From what I can make out from your post, it looks as though you have the Actions panel disabled. To re-enable it, click on View and Customize... Check to select the option Action pane.

    You can always jump straight to a task's properties by double clicking on it in the Task Scheduler Library. Alternatively, right-click on the task and choose your desired option from the popup menu.

    thanks.

    well- the action pane is already checked.
    double click and right click on the task gives me no response at all?

    its been like this since i first used it when the computer was months old..
