Unless someone else here knows, I would post in the Asus Forum asking how to boot that model directly to an MBR disk or bypass the EFI firmware.

If the mobo is less than a year old, you're also entitled to Asus tech support to answer the question for you.

Is it possible for an OS to integrate itself to the BIOS, therefore to create a relation between them?
YES, As the ASUS P8P67 has a EFI BIOS.

Q. What about mixing and matching GPT and MBR disks on the same system?

A. GPT and MBR disks can be mixed on systems that support GPT, as described earlier. However, you must be aware of the following restrictions:
Systems that support UEFI require that boot partition must reside on a GPT disk. Other hard disks can be either MBR or GPT.
Both MBR and GPT disks can be present in a single dynamic disk group. Volume sets can span both MBR and GPT disks.

Okay, I think I will accept the situation as it is... Maybe it's normal anyways. Finally I found a related link:

Interesting problem booting I've never experienced before
Scratching my head on this one because there never been a problem with computers in the last 14 years I couldn't resolve... I've narrowed it down to two possible problems.. PSU or MB.. I'm leaning more towards PSU have problems under load, when booting video card draws a lot of power... I don't...

Interesting taskbar issue lately.
It keeps moving or resizing by itself whenever a screenmode change occurs such as when opening a game or enabling a second screen. Can't quite put my finger on why. When it moves (usually to the top) the properties also change to Top as well, yet when it returns to the large icon size, the...

Interesting Graphics Issue.
Howdy. I've been running 7 for a while with no real issue except for a somewhat annoying bug that seems to be causing some kind of grief with desktop graphics. Imagine the scenario; you boot up your computer, arrive at your desktop and decide you want to check your emails. You open up your...
