Outdated? Well, most of the industri is outdated. When I was a kid in the 60's and 70's then when we saw science fiction about year 2000, then we all walk around in silver-clothes, we have robots, to wash our cars, make our dinner, cleaning the house, and some special robots to take care of our sexlife.

In reallity, all we got is a robot vacuum cleaner, that is not very good at cleaning, and it hurts if it has to take care of my sexlife .

Other than that, I hate that I have the green squares in the bootscreen instead of the new "orb", that nobody seems to be able to solve, and I know I'm not the only one with this problem.

I might be odd, but I don't like, that Outlook Express don't come along Windows 7. Windows live mail, is a big slow program compared to it. WLM can do a lot more tahn OE, but I don't need that! I want my OE back.

Check your inbox m8, have sent you the solution.. not sure if posting the link on the forum was allowed..

The default 'girly-girl' desktop in RTM.

    Improper 'octal' display in Calc.

Other than that, not bad, not bad......

If this is the solution to the green squares you have sendt Burgurne, may I also recieve "something" in my inbox, please?

Like Burgurne, I also really hate this green square bootscreen, especially since you guys told me, that it is because I have a crappy PC.

    I miss OE very much!

I would love to be able to switch place and look of the "start-orb" (START-button in XP) on the taskbar in different themes and/or colorchanges.

I don't like, that it is so hard (or me being stupid) to disable all prefetch and superprefetch as I have a SSD as system-drive.

Is it you or the vacuum cleaner that's get hurt?

I'm so annoyed by the pin issue that I'm thinking about using objectdock instead of the superbar =(

Call me old fashioned but i do miss the classic control panel. I'm sure it's just a case of 're-learning' where everything is exactly, but that really does grind my gears lol.

Oh and the occasional BSOD of course; but that's just standard ...

1 major disappointment for me is the lack of "classic mode" within the Control Panel. That new system is a PITA to find anything. I have to use the darn search thing all the time just to find simple things...and I'd rather not find it that way. It's really my only significant complaint.
I can relate to this one. Had the same issue finding stuff and it drove me nuts! (not a long drive tho )

Anyway, pparks1...click on 'details' (I think) in the upper, right corner. This will bring up ALL the typical Control Panel icons instead of that "helpful" grouping that shows by default.

I don't like how thick the new tool bar is. I ended up doing this to make it more like Vista/XP'ish though:

I miss the mini bar mode and "search in library" from WMP...
I love the thickness of the taskbar... but I do agree that the older one was more stylish.
