and since i'm on a 64 system, i'm having mad issues finding a suitable mkv video player, as wmp11 is still not quite capable in that field.
Check out this brilliant site.

Everything on Mediacenter, Codecs, MKV, you name it.

Should be a partner site to Sevenforums imho.

Good luck

I still haven't got use to not having HD information (free Space, etc) in Windows Explorer's Status Bar. If anything I was expecting more information from the Status Bar.

Image 1 is a XP My Computer window with status bar. Image 2 is My Computer window from Seven.

Could you please tell me what is the info you don't find in Seven but which is available in XP?

I find KMplayer to be the best media player replacement out there. Simple, yet does it all.. VLC is another good choice, but not as good as Kmplayer imo..

Good morning. ECH might be tworken. In both OS's - select a group of files. Which OS reports useful information in the status bar about that group?

Good afternoon.

Tworken? Absolutely no idea what that means! Anyway, on some level he is right: the information is no longer shown in status bar, it's moved one row up to give information more place. Still, Seven gives a lot more information.
