That snuck up on me. I rarely use the Start Menu any more. When I do, I rarely have to click the All Programs selection.

    I just noticed that.

And I hate the new taskbar and start menu. Or, so I thought.

    LMBAO at my own self.
I grew to love the taskbar.
Once you tweak it to your liking it is super efficient.

People tend to forget how many tweaking they do on XP before it's to their liking.
I don't know anyone that uses XP in it's default settings.

I don't like W7's start menu, but like I said, I almost don't use it anyway.
Yes. Windows 7 sucks. Less and less. Much moreso than XP.

Yes it is strange how the taskbar and new start menu sneak up on you.

I have 4 items pinned to the taskbar, 5 pinned to the start menu and my recent programs list is set at 18. That's 27 programs with quick(ish) access.

Also quite often I will work from a file-centric view - type the name of the file into the start bar and select - app loaded - Simplez

The other thing i do at times is open a project file CTRL-A then enter - all the relevant files open in their assigned apps

Can you elaborate on the CTL+A? What is that?

    Seriously.

    Project folder? That I understand...

There is no CTL+A function in the taskbar, right?

I'm pressing CTL+A all over the freakin' place and getting nothing. Must be project folder.

Yeah, I figured that out after a bit. Had me going.

Now, if only I could CTL+DEL to erase the last few posts.

    Sorry Antman,

I stepped out for a few minutes and found you were having a quiet conversation with yourself - It didn't seem right to intervene

I even wrote a last post saying:

I guess I should have set the timer at 5 minutes.
