My only complaint is the removal of the classic start menu... small potatoes when compared to the windows 7 experience overall.
I can't believe how many people still like those classic menus. Of course I've never been one to stay with the default way MS does things. Since Win95 days I've alphabetized my start menu and removed anything that isn't a program. My 'Programs' menu is just 26 folders A - Z, that way everything is a click away - Programs -> P -> Photoshop
The programs A-Z thing is not a half bad idea...

If I had a bunch of apps installed, I might have taken that route myself

Now this can mean many things...

Are we talking recovery discs (to access the recovery menu)?

    Zidane:

No a plain old boot disk to get me a good old fashioned DOS prompt... er Command Prompt! Like to use to install a BIOS update, etc!

I searched Win7 Help for boot disk and nada...

I also wish MS would change the defrag app back like it was in days gone by... showing us what was happening.... not just 10%, 11%, etc!

Oh I see...funny you should mention the BIOS update as Mickey just showed me a way of making my flash drive into a Command Prompt at boot (to start the BIOS update)

As for the defragmenter...I am glad it changed...I was TOO memorized by the blocks filling in...

i used to spend hours and hours watching those squares change colour and move around...

    my fave was win 9x.

much more time was wasted defragging then was ever saved by having a defragged partition...
