I thought I quite clearly stated that Microsoft have told people "the Classic Start Menu is outdated - move on". So plenty of people obviously did want it but Microsoft didn't care. And just because they ask for beta feedback doesn't mean they're going to pay any attention to it.

And isn't the whole bottom of this thread the fact that we don't have the CHOICE!!! All we want is to have the CHOICE.
It's simply ridiculous to continue to want the choice to go back. How far back do you want these "choices" to go? Do you want to be able to invoke ProgMan from Windows 3.1 just because you once used it? All that does is cause the bloat that people rant about. New code *replaces* old....not supplements. Out with the old, in with the new. Asking for these choices makes too many points in the code where problems can arise. If you want the "choice"....stay with the old OS until it dies, but don't clutter the new OS with old interfaces. There's no sense or point to it.

    Thanks CarlTR6

A lot of people seemed to be requesting faster ways of doing things.
I thought that the list might help.

I can't vouch for all the shortcuts though, I don't use most of them myself.
I mainly use the System Properties, and screen positioning ones, on Windows 7

It should be very handy for laptop users.

You are welcome, Iehnerus. At my advanced age, I have to print it out to remember the shortcuts. Now if I only could remember where I put that printed list...
