    Libraries have disappeared!

I had to replace the hard-drive on my new HP Pavilion. When I got it back, none of the standard library folders were there anymore - My Documents, Pictures, etc. What should I do to get those back? I know the files wont be there, but when I first got it, all the libraries were there. And it always copied to my personal system folder. What should I do?

    Hello shog627

Have a look here this should restore the default libraries for you - Libraries - Restore Default

If that doesn't work have a look at this one - Libraries - Hidden and Empty Fix which worked for me when I had this issue

Okay are you able to create a library manually - New Library - Create.

Are they showing at this location - C:\Users\(User-Name)\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Libraries

Hey, I don't know what I did, but I went to start, and under my username where it says Documents, Pictures, Music, I clicked on Documents, and suddenly the library showed up. I didn't change any settings on my computer, so maybe it was hidden or something - not sure. Thanks for your help anyway!

Sounds like they were hidden and this Libraries - Hidden and Empty Fix made them re appear.Did you reboot or log off/on straight after.
    Either way glad its sorted
