    Explorer.exe stops responded

Once again, I'm wondering if this is a beta problem, or if it could be one of my drivers...

Basically from what i gather explorer.exe is essentially my interface (taskbar and desktop). Sometmes my taskbar freezes, and sometimes even desktop icons won't work. Now if I wait I get the W7 options thing that goes "windows explorer is not responding" and it works by me simply restarting it, but then it goes back and freezes again. I'm wondering if this is me, or a wider problem or what. If possible I would like to resolve it...

EDIT: I think it has to do w/ volume mixer too, since that freezes whenever I try to change the sound, and if I keep trying explorer.exe freezes =/

EDIT 2: Yeah... I think driver re-install for a few drivers fixed everything, but now I'm wondering what caused to drivers to get like this... Could it possibly be not-perfect compatibility w/ W7? Either way tomorrow I'm finally going to go and check for driver updates from the disks, I never should've let W7 find them automatically in the first place...

it looks like you were just unlucky due to your particular hardware combination - i believe most of us were ok with the default standard windows drivers.

it's always good practice to run windows update or check the manufacturer's website for new drivers straight after install - it's the first thing i do once i've got antivirus up and running - in fact it's even better to have the drivers stashed away on a separate partition or usb drive before you install, in case you need a network driver before you can go online!

driver support can only get better as we approach the release date...
