Nonono. What are you going to re-install from? You need to re-install from the retail copy of Windows 7. Once you are ready, tell me and I will post FULL instructions on how to do so?
Maybe you missed the prior message. downloaded the ISO of Windows 7 from http://msft-dnl.digitalrivercontent..../X15-65805.iso and burned it to a dvd using imgburn. That was what I was going to reinstall from. I'm ready - or I will be first thing in the morning.
windows 7 Professional, 64-bit.
Ok good. Don't do the re-install yet though. We have to get drivers first. I will need to know all the devices you have, so we will use Speccy. Download and install Speccy Speccy - System Information - Free Download. Run Speccy, and let it gather the system information. When its done, select File, then Save as text file... Upload that text file here please. Thanks.
Alright, drivers you need (download them and put them on a USB or something):
Chipset: http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Deta...&DownloadType=
Graphics: http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Deta...adType=Drivers
Printer: I don't know which, you have the disk/drivers for it right?
Keyboard and mouse: Windows Update will get these for you.
Audio: Realtek
Ethernet: Broadcom.com - Broadcom License Agreement
I have the disk for the printer, and I can also downloaded it. Okay, I've got all the other ones.
I've got it all downloaded. Can you give me the full instructions at one time so I can do a few things one right after the other?
