.exe won't work after ReFormat. PLEASE HELP!!??

I reformatted my computer with a legit windows 7 disc and after the reformat i try to double click on a .exe

    AND NOTHING!

It comes up with a error saying that this application is not compatible with this version of windows and to please check if I am running 32 or 64 bit windows. Also to call Microsoft for support.

I don't understand. I just reformatted and I cannot run any .exe file!

    please help?

    Thank You.

    Hi,

Do you mean you reformatted and reinstalled Windows 7? Your post doesn't make much sense. Which application are you trying to run?

Are you using the Windows 7 64 bit e.g. Graphics Setup?

What OS was on the HD Drive before reformating?

For better help with problems, Can you post your specs.

It sounds like you're trying to launch an EXE for a program on a different platform (i.e. a 64-bit installer on 32-bit Windows or vice versa).
