Adding shortcuts to taskbar

i have just bought new laptop with windows old pc had windows xp and i was able to add shortcuts (called standard buttons i think)along a taskbar at the top of the page just under the menu bar..some of these buttons were move to folder ....copy to properties...cut..copy paste and in windows 7 i cannot find this main concer is the move to and copy to folder option , in windows 7 you have to go to edit to move these pictures you cant even right click on a picture and move to a new location...

adding folder and drive shortcuts to task bar
On XP, I would put shortcuts to my different hard drives and folders on the taskbar for quick access. Seems like Windows 7 task bar doesn't let me do this and only allows me to put program files only (yes task bar is unlocked). is there a way to add hard drive and folder short cuts?
