Keyboard typing not what it should

Hey guys! I have got a weird problem with my laptop! when i am typing on keyboard, and i press certain keys, it is not typing what it should. I checked the keyboard configuration, it is on US standard, it is not British English or something else, I read somewhere that it can happen because of BIOS, so I updated it.
thanks

Which keys? What are they typing (if anything) when you press them, and what should they be typing? On many laptops, some of the keys are multifunctional. Check to see that they are in the correct mode.

If this IS what happened, you can disable these functions by pressing <SHIFT> 5 times and disable the settings in the screens that follow. Read those carefully before you choose...

When I have a problem like that, it is usually because a key is stuck.
