    Dsktop Icons not staying in position


    Every time I load up windows the icons are in the default position and not where I left them, any ides how to fix this?

    ShellFolderFix Brings Saved Icon Positions Back to Windows 7 - In order for ShellFolderFix utility to "take hold" you need to change the Desktop settings, then close it. The next time you open the Desktop all its settings should be as you left them.

Sorry if this is in the wrong place. I've been running the same install of Windows 7 64 bit for about 2 years now without a problem. As of Monday all desktop icons refuse to stay put. I can place them where I want but after a reboot (or right click and refresh) they all end up on the left of...
My desktop Icons are locked in place. I move them to desire position and when I REFRESH the desktop, they return to previous position. They also change size after a reboot. Can someone assist me with this problem.

I've placed my recycle bin in the bottom right of the desktop, but every time I log out then back in, it moves back to the top left, is there a way to lock the position, or to make it remember it? Thanks.
