    Disc burning question

When I use Windows 7 to burn data or jpgs to a disc, the list of what I’m going to burn always includes “desktop.ini” ready to be written to disc.

I just burned one driver file to a CD-R and when I look at the disc directory it lists the file I want plus “Files Ready to Be Written to Disc (1)” and “desktop.ini”.

Why does “desktop.ini” appear when I want to burn a disc?
And why does it show up when viewing the burned disc‘s directory?

It can be deleted because it did not get burned to the disc, but why does it keep appearing?

    Hello Mike99

This is the normal behavoir of windows 7.You can hide it if you uncheck show hidden file and folders in folder options.
Some more reading here for you - Files Ready to Be Written to the Disc
