Does "E" definately mean european, or is E for Internet Explorer?

Even the E versions are en-us.
All editions of Windows 7 will be sold in Europe without IE.
E means > NO Internet Explorer
N Means > NO Internet Explorer + NO Media Player

All of this stems from Opera complaining to the EU about unfair competition. As far as I am aware, none of the other browser manufacturers have complained - could this have more to do with their poor standings in the ratings? They don't even make the top 10 here W3Counter - Global Web Stats (in fact, we need to go back to April 2009 when their share was 0.57% for the last mention of them).

the how-to don't work, because the there is for the moment no IE8 installer for Windows 7 and the Vista one do not work!!!!

So if you will IE8 in Windows 7E you need KB968771 (and in this threat there is already a Link with the file.)
