Great! Now which step(s) do you think removed the popups?
I'm curious so that we can better help others in the future.[/QUOTE]
I honestly think it might have been the combo of deleting, as well as the start up options in the MSCONFIG. There, you are removing the source, then removing it from start up. So there is no chance of it being on the computer, or for it to pop up on start up.
Am I able to redownload adobe once again, or do you think I'll get the same issue as we just solved.
Go to the official adobe site, not one from anyone else.
Now this site will give you official adobe links:
Adobe News: Released Updates, Advance Notice and DigiNotar ~ Security Garden
This is where I got my adobe at.
Adobe - Install a different version of Adobe Flash Player
That's an official adobe site and is ok.
Just watch out and always uncheck that box about downloading the MdAfee scan.
I deeply resent adobe's practice of trying to pawn off bloat and sometimes harmful software on the unsuspecting.
Oh, I've had my fair shares of McAfee myself. So I know not to check the box.
