Why did you convert D and Tools to Logical when the steps given said to convert C, so that you have the flexibility to later add data partitions to the right of C?

Your Recovery will not run as a Logical partition since it can't be marked Active to boot with the F11 hotkey.

Boot PW CD, rightclick Recovery to Modify>Convert to primary, click OK.

Then rightclick C to Resize to the right into Free space, which normally belongs to Logical but will work for Primary as well in PW versions 5.2 and higher, click OK, Apply steps.

Later try running your HP diagnostics to see if HP tools will run as a Logical partition. If not, convert C to Logical as originally instructed, then convert HP Tools to Primary.

Use the Snipping tool to make your snapshots.

The snipping tool will produce a .png file by default which then you can post.

The snipping tool output is easy to read.

My mistake, I thought by rebooting you were referring to rebooting into your Windows 7.

How did you initiate the Startup Repair?

Looking back at the time of posts of different posts, then I'm having trouble with the "past 2 hours".

Is Startup Repair running at this very minute?
