hey Computer pros! please check 3 of my computer specs :)

if you are not familar with the software 'Blender' it is a 3D modelling/animating program.
and i have 3 computers available to use, but they are kinda old.
so, il start with my main computer

>> HP desktop
-289GB harddrive
-Intel(R) Core(TM) 2 CPU 4400 @ 2.00GHz 2.00GHz
-2.00GB Ram
-32 bit

>> Toshiba Laptop
-90GB harddrive
-Intel(R) Core(TM) 2 Duo CPU T7500 @ 2.20GHz 2.20GHz
-2.00GB Ram
-32 bit

>> Dell Desktop
-148GB harddrive
-Intel(R) Celeron(R) CPU E1400 @ 2.00GHz 2.00GHz
-3.00GB Ram
-32 bit

so... i can kinda see that my laptop is better than others, but im trying to use desktops. so please tell me which desktop is better too. dont forget about the laptop either :P

The HP, because the Dell has a Celeron processor.

It depends on what you mean by better.

The HP Desktop has the larger hard drive meaning more space for data, programs, files etc.
The Toshiba Laptop has the better CPU meaning faster processing speed.
The Dell Desktop has more RAM meaning you can have more programs or apps open at once.

To use this 'Blender' software of yours, I would probably go with the Toshiba Laptop.

As for the desktops...
Celeron processors aren't too good for newer software but it does have more memory than the other two. This shouldn't really matter though as no program ever uses over 1GB RAM. The HP has a Core 2 Duo which is a decent processor. It also has a larger hard drive capacity if you need it.

Dell desktop is out, no doubt about it. The HP you have is clearly the better desktop.

EDIT: arkhi, in the post below me has a fair point. Can you post the GPU's as well? You can see your full system specs by following the below tutorial.

If it's for 3D modelling, shouldn't you be concerened about the GPU too?

The HP Desktop with the E4400 is only a tad slower than the laptop, processor-wise.
The Dell is just a tad slower than the HP.
you probably wouldn't even notice the speed difference between the three machines.

I'd load the program on all 3 and just test it out to see which one renders faster.
An OpenGL graphics card like a Quadro or FireGL may make the layout more responsive if the program supports it, I know Lightwave 3D does and it made a huge difference in the modeling and layout when you had a large polygon count layout or model you were working with.
