    found BIOS

Thank you. I followed your instructions and found what you said.

    ACPI standby mode.........[S3(STR)]

But it is Black. I can not reach it with the use of the arrow keys.
    Any idea?

Again, thank you so far for your replies.

OK, glad you found it at least Bianca, it may be you have to press Enter to access some of those settings, sorrydidn't mention that before.
A picture of you main and each setting BIOS page would be very helpful here. IF you have a cell phone cam or can borrow one would be fine, but get the entire screen please. :)

    BIOS screen photo's

Thanks for sticking with me, I am grateful.

I made the photo's you asked for. Hope it will help.

I tried uploading the photo's but got the message:

"Your submission could not be processed because a security token was missing."

I will try to post it somewhere else and give you a link if that is ok with you?

Sure, many people use Image shack or Photo Bucket.

Which power plan setting are you using?
Have you noticed that each power plan has its own settings?

Yes I have been there many time and changed all sorts but with no results. I put it on Never go to sleep, do Never turn screen of etc but so far still my screen goes black as if I am inactive while I am editing or watching slide shows or video's etc.

Thank you for trying to think with/for me to solve this.
