unlockteam,
It appears that with an adapter like this you could but for this kind of money why? For a few more bucks you can be in a SSD drive and for less you can have a 1TB 7200 x 64 cache spinner that will keep up with the older 10,000rpm drive.

Hey wait a minute then I find this bad boy and it's cheap enough.

i just want something for my OS to sit on for a bit more speed and faster boot times as. I ant got the money for an SSD just yet and someone said to me that SCSI would be good drives but suppose ill look into a 15k 80gb drive.
How old are the drives, make and model?
I have a pair of Seagate 10K Rpm Cheetahs and they are much slower than todays current crop of 7200rpm drives, and you can cook on the Cheetahs since they run extremely hot so they need to be cooled. Burnt my fingers when I first got them.
My new Samsung F4 Green 2TB drives are slightly faster than my 1TB WD Black drives and run much cooler.
all I no is there Seagate 73.4gb u320 drives 10k rpm
I recommend going SATA only and dont try to use SCSI.
SCSI was good back in the IDE days since you could have 7 or 15 drives on 1 SCSI controller vs 4 IDE drives with motherboards.
I used to buy motherboards with onboard SCSI controllers or use an Adaptec 2940UW PCI controller.
Look at the WD Raptor SATA drives as they were based on the SCSI drives.
will look into them and see if i can find a small but cheap ssd too.
SSD would be the best option, just finding a good price is the hard part.
They had an excellent 256GB SSD on sale a couple of months ago for $199, I waited too long and they were sold out at Newegg.
here is a 64GB for $65 after rebate,
